3: A Role Model
I definitely had my fair share of influences in life. Then again, when it comes to people asking about my role model, I really do not know who to start blabbing about. Well, there is just this one person that really influenced me a lot and that is none other than my father. Well, he gave me the idea that books are better than boys and he still continue to inspire me in everything. Even though we have a dog-cat relationship, I still find him to be a father and a person that I could look up to with a big respect. All the more, I think about “Ayn Rand” since she gave me ideas about her Philosophy in an early age. I even got her name. Cool for me but not for some!

So much for “Gaga” issues! Well, she already left the Philippines but she left with a lot of messy controversies. Her two-day concert was really much of a success since nothing could really stop her from performing. Not even the conditions were met regarding some of her songs but nonetheless, her concert is considered to be a success with its number of die hard fans in the audiences. Her market catered to mostly gays, lesbians, trans-genders, bisexuals etc. By this, her undying image of letting the public accept who you are is quite the statement since that made her very popular. More so, her positive image among people with such skeletons in their closet was received warmly. Then again, the Philippines being a Christian country is not so warm with her freedom of expression in some of her lyrics and video clips that were termed “blasphemous”.
Lady Gaga deserves that concert and with all those stereotypes out there, she should have not been invited on the first place if all the drama has been considered. Her music deserves to be heard and her issues were just plainly a price of fame that she had to pay.
With so many problems on our country, I can’t believe that the government would give this a spotlight. I just made Gaga one-more-blog famous.

1. I love reading but I rarely have time to do so now. :(
2. I like shopping! I mostly do on-line shopping nowadays!
3. I am a desert person. You say cake, ice cream, egg tarts, cupcakes etc…, I’ll definitely eat it!
4. I like a good conversation that involves criticizing both sides.
5. I like sleeping most of the time. I always feel that I am deprived of sleep. :))
